“Hone your skills for the fight of your life.”
We offer training activities that meet tactical, operational, and strategic requirements OCONUS and CONUS.
We have three holistic approaches to training:
- Training has a purpose and is structured.
- Training is relevant and realistic.
- Training standard is high.
1. Training has a purpose and is structured.
Everything we teach has an overarching purpose that is backed up by a principle of patrolling, principle of war, etc. Every training event is directed towards stretching the student’s abilities and is conducted within an environment conducive to learning.
2. Training is relevant and realistic.
Learning is continuous and focused. Not only do our clients receive high caliber instruction from subject matter experts, training is up to date regarding doctrine, and scenarios are realistic in a variety of environments, applying lessons learned from history and current events/trends. The whole idea behind teaching methodology is to engage and excite learners so they choose to drive their own proactive exploration into the subject.
3. Training standard is high.
Our approach to learning is to keep training content clear and engaging. Our trainers offer expert instruction that is both passionate and focused which engaging students to the point where they begin to teach themselves and others. One of our goals in training is to inculcate growth mindsets. This enables our students to see challenges as opportunities to grow rather than obstacles of failure to avoid. To keep the standards high, we offer training that has a structured review process (after-action review) which allows training participants to discover for themselves what happened, why it happened and how it can be done better. One of our mottos for training is:
“When you’ve done the best you can do, that’s only what you’re supposed to do.”

Shooter Training Courses
Raven Advisory Shooter Courses are built around a combat mindset and are designed to improve both speed and accuracy giving students the fundamental skills needed to deliver precision fire under stress.
All Raven Advisory Instructors are highly skilled retired Special Operations personnel from the US Army Special Forces, 1st SFOD-D, and Naval Special Warfare.
“The magic is all the little drills are building to bigger drills. Culmination exercises really give us a measure of what we just worked on and the success becomes subconscious…the drills were expressed and demonstrated. There was a progression (crawl, walk, run). The instructors were knowledgeable but not arrogant. EVERYTHING we did over two days came to fruition (had to get it in) in the final Stress Shoot.”
“This course is a fantastic display of how reinforcing the fundamentals and developing these skills fosters a solid base for improved precision and speed. The instructors are undoubtedly some of the best I have had the opportunity to work with in over 18 years of law enforcement and military training. I would recommend this class as a regular tune up for shooters of all levels to hone skills and a focus on the basics that build a strong skill set.”
